1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Teaching Management System, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
2. Description of Service
The Teaching Management System is an educational platform designed to help teachers manage their classes, track lesson progress, and organize educational content.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Users making an account must be employed within education. If signing up as part of an institution, they must be employed by that institution. The institution's administrator is responsible for closing accounts of employees who leave.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Service. You agree not to use the service:
- In any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- To transmit any advertising or promotional material
- To impersonate any person or entity
5. Content and Data
You retain all rights to any content you submit. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content.
6. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service.
7. Service Notifications
Users will be notified by email for updates to services or policies.
8. Service Interruptions
Temporary service interruptions may occur during website maintenance and updates. These will generally occur between 11 PM and 12 PM GMT, or during school holidays. Normal service should resume within a few hours.
9. Payment Terms
Currently, there is no method for submitting payments as our app is still in beta testing. However, users may choose to donate towards running costs if they wish.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including if you breach the Terms.
11. Liability Limitations
In no event shall the Teaching Management System be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, consequential, or special damages.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operates.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Teaching Management System and its licensors, service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the service.
15. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electronic, or communications failure or degradation.
16. Feedback and Suggestions
We welcome your feedback and suggestions for the service. If you submit feedback, we may use it without obligation to you. If you provide feedback that includes new features or functionality requests, we may implement those at our discretion but have no obligation to do so.
